Ron Scaglione

Age 25

This will be Ronald’s first tour with the Scotland team. He works as a Lighting Designer for iGuzzini illuminazione in Glasgow.

He attended Kelvinside Academy where he first shot target rifle under the watchful eye of Allan Mabon - the master in charge of shooting. Allan also had the misfortune of being Ronald’s English teacher!

Ronald’s regards his best days shooting being his first ever National Match where he recorded a highest possible score on the first range with Allan as his coach.

His worst days shooting would have to be the 1995 West of Scotland spring meeting where he thought he scored his first ever possible at 300 yards. However, it was brought to his attention he had actually being shooting at a 500 yard target used to balance the target frame!

Although this will be his first trip to Western Canada he is looking forward to the spectacular scenery and the warm hospitality afforded to him during his previous visits to Canada.
