Age 45
Born Edinburgh, first lived at Northing Farm, Haddington, now living in Garvald, East Lothian. Started shooting with Knox Academy CCF ( age 12). First shot targets with the British Deer Society then Castle Law with Bob Aitken.
I enjoy the friendly rivalry between 'F' class and TR

2003
Started to take part in club and regional competitions, won Fife and Kinross Grand Aggregate and set new range record (Double possible,150 v 30).
Captained winning BDS team at Otterburn. Won high gun at Scottish inter-branch shoot at Blair Atholl

2004 Competitions won

West Open, SRA long range, Inverness-shire Open, NRCS, Tullibardine/Tayside Open, Murray Cup, East Open, Fife and Kinross Championships, West Atholl Championships.

First Cap for Scotland in Lawrence ('F') at Barry Budden.

Hobbies are deer management for a large local estate, fly and sea fishing, providing vermin control for local farmers and chess. Recently very busy building new range at Carfraemill with Lothian and Borders Rifle Club. I am one of the founder members of that Club and am the Vice-chairman and Secretary.

Qualified RCO and First Aider.

Family - married to Aileen ( 24 years) with sons Paul and Gary and daughters Joanna and Laura. Aileen and Laura are coming on tour to Canada.
