When you started shooting At the form 1 cadet recruitment day, smiling from ear to ear as I was (finally) trusted with a rifle. My first Bisley was in 2001, and haven’t been able to drag myself away since.
Hobbies and interests Not studying, playing the geetar very loudly, weight training, playing ridiculously immature pranks whilst at Uni, and of course, shooting!
Notable shooting achievements Nothing compared to my teammates – I am still chuffed that I was picked for the Dollar Bisley squad in 2001! In the few years since then, I have won the Jersey U19 Grand, seen tours with the UK Cadet Rifle Team, Athelings and GB U19 and won all sorts of spoons, these are especially good being a student.
When we jet over to Canada, I will be trying my damndest to recreate the possible I got at 900m on a very windy day, with a little help from a nice German chap. |
