Notable shooting achievements Partnering Wolf Schattenberg to a combined total of 17 in the Corporation in about 1991 – I hit the target with my last shot for a score of 3.

When you started shooting At Aberdeen University in 1974 . I first visited Bisley with an RAF Station team in 1979. In amongst all the Service weapons, somebody handed me an L39 and said to use it like a .22” target rifle. One battered lip later, having kept my score literally on the back of a fag packet, the captain of the RAF team grabbed me as I left the point and told me I had to join the RAF Target Rifle Club. So it’s all Chris Fitzpatrick’s fault really.
Hobbies and interests Flying and shooting – unfortunately nobody wants to pay me for going shooting. |
