A Young Daoud
a young Daoud

DOB: 20.11.54

  • Married to Nancy, with 2 children
    a son, Hedi, age 27
    a daughter, Nadia, age 23.

Originally from Tunisia, Daoud met Nancy when she was on holiday there in 1971 (yes ........ a holiday romance!). They married in Tunisia in April 1976 after Daoud had completed his National Service and have lived in Inverkeithing, Fife, ever since.

Daoud started shooting around 4 years ago with the Dunfermline Small Bore Rifle Club and he was awarded the Club’s trophy for Best Improved Average in 2003. His other most notable achievement was making the Scottish team to tour Canada this year.

His best day’s shooting was when he qualified for the Scottish Team in June 2004. Unfortunately,

His worst day’s shooting was unfortunately when he actually competed for the team the following day!

Apart from shooting, his hobbies include occasional golf and hillwalking (over 120 Munros), and he takes a keen interest in the natural world and current affairs.
